When Realty Gives Back: 5 Homes with Paso Robles’ Heart to Heart Real Estate

Though there is plenty of real estate available in the San Luis Obispo area, there are few where agents donate a 50% of their real estate commission to the charity or nonprofit of their buyer’s choice.

Heart to Heart Real Estate is a Paso Robles-based agency that is dedicated to giving back to the community with each transaction. Their ultimate goal is to affect massive change through community partnerships. At the close of escrow, Heart to Heart will disburse 50% of the commission to fund the charitable and/or nonprofit organizations that are designated by their clients.

SLOFly: Reflecting the Lifestyle & Feel of California’s Central Coast

SLOFly is a local San Luis Obispo apparel store that is all about catching the Central Coast vibe.

In 2011, Maryland native and University of Wyoming graduate Doug Barden was moved to San Luis Obispo for work. From his first beer at a longtime downtown pub, Doug was instantly hooked on the town and the surrounding communities.

He bought a house, quickly made friends, and embraced the lifestyle of the Central Coast.

However, in 2016 Doug’s career unexpectedly moved him to Lafayette, the heart of the Acadiana region of Louisiana. Still in a culture shock from the amazing food and gritty culture, Doug stumbled into a small store in downtown Lafayette called Parish Ink. Immediately he was inspired.

“This is exactly what the Central Coast needs,” Doug said to himself.
